Little Help?

Hi, folks. I finally took the plunge and got a Paid account a few days ago and I've got an image in my head that I want in an icon.

In Rocky IV, before the Drago-Creed fight, the music starts and Drago is looking around, totally confused. My idea is to make an icon of that facial expression with my own caption. If some kind sould with the knowledge could get me a screenshot of that (with some room to make text), I'd be eternally grateful (and I'll post the finished product here, too).
does anyone know where i can find some good pictures from rocky 3 and 4? i already tried google, but they don't come up with much

Rocky jumped a park bench

I'm a fan of James Rolfe - also known as the AVGN. He happens to be a big Rocky fan and a big movie maker, and recently he made two very good videos of showing all the places in Rocky located in Philidelphia.

Made me want to watch the movies all over again quite frankly.

With the success of Sylvester Stallone's Rambo film, and 2006's winter blockbuster, Rocky Balboa-- there has been some talk of a potentially possibly Rocky VII film. Yes, there are rumors going around that there will be Rocky VII. Sylvester Stallone has proven to us that age doesn't matter as long as you have the heart to do it, but personally-- I think that the Rocky saga has ended with Rocky Balboa.

What reason does Rocky have left to fight? He let all his grief and anger over Adrian's death out on Mason Dixon's misfortune on his last fight. The Rocky saga ended perfectly-- how can you go on a saga when it ended just so perfectly?

Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to see Rocky fight again but there is no reason for Balboa to fight again... The story is done, the ending was just fine...

But if Rocky has a reason to fight again... I'd be more than happy to see him fight.

I heard this rumor from RockyFans on DA. If someone could confirm or debunk this-- go on head.

Rocky: The Complete Saga

Though I have reservations about the latest package of Rocky movies, I didn't have make a decision about buying or not buying for myself: someone gave it to me for Christmas. I haven't cracked the set open yet, but I plan to. I've seen all of these movies multiple times, with the exception of Rocky Balboa (which I look forward to reviewing), but that's not going to stop me from filling myself to the brim with Rocky-ness.

Who else bought it or got it? Do you plan on a Rocky marathon to celebrate?

A tribute that features scenes from all the Rocky films including the latest installment Rocky Balboa. It gives a nice look at the various training aspects from all the films, a look at all of Rocky's big fights, insights into Rocky's character in general, and bits and pieces of the relationship between Rocky and Adrian.

A bit of Rocky wisdom

This was probably my favorite snippet of dialogue from Rocky Balboa, and I actually have it as one of my email signatures:

"Let me tell you something you already know: the world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place; it'll beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me or nobody is going to hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much can you take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

A little late....

I was casting around online looking for Rocky-related news when I ran across this interview, given to CLTV back when Rocky Balboa came out. It's short, but good, and fans should enjoy it.

The verdict is in.

So DVD Verdict posted their review of Rocky: The Complete Saga and I completely understand their disappointment with the extras situation. Considering that this will likely be the last DVD collection before MGM makes the leap completely to next-gen video -- be that Blu-Ray or HD-DVD -- one would think they'd give us a truly definitive retrospective on the films. Even the version of Rocky that's included isn't the nice anniversary edition from just a little while ago.

I wonder what's keeping MGM from giving the Rocky movies the classy treatment they deserve.
